ISLAMORADA--Just before it was released, new National Hurricane Center Director Bill Read poses with one of two tarpon he caught and released May 27, 2008, off Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Taking a brief respite from speaking duties at hurricane preparedness events in the Keys, Read fished with Vic Gaspeny from Bud N' Mary's Fishing Marina.
