Capt. Rick Stanczyk had a great day in the everglades on 1/6/11! He went for a day of fun fishing with his girlfriend and mother, Elizabeth and Ginger Baxter, and good friend Jonathen Ness. They fished way back around the mainland of florida and the cape in the morning. Great bite of redfish the first spot they stopped, and a handful of decent size black drum! They ran up in a few winding creeks and caught a few more, along with some trout and ladyfish. Ended the day running around the gulf side back towards home, the water was real dirty with the west wind blowing so we didn't see much around the usual spots where you may find a cobia or triple tail lurking. We did fish a few runoffs closer to home and caught some more trout and ladyfish, and a few larger reds one of the islands on pinfish! All in all probably caught 30 drum altogether! Great day of Florida Keys Fishing!

Capt. Perry Scuderi reported fishing xmas eve back around the flamingo area of the everglades. Winds were 15-20mph, northeast, though nice blue sky but a little bumpy. Fishing shrimp on liht tackle, they caught redfish, black drum, sheepshead, and trout. Saw lots of wild bird life, and porpoises!
