I had Tom and Wendy Sims out on this beautiful calm day. No problem loading up on nice mangrove snapper early. also plenty of spanish mackerel,trout,ladyfish,bluefish and small grouper. We then cruised along the outskirts of Florida Bay and the Gulf of Mexico checking each navigational marker for cobia and tripletail. we released a couple small cobia. Tom hooked a big cobia that hit a bucktail jig and shrimp on a light spinning rod. Well 45 minutes later we boated the 35lb cobia. great job of angling Tom!
