Ben Friedman and John McWard are here for their annual shark fishing trip. We had a load of Spanish mackerel for bait from fishing yesterday. We headed to a deep hole near cape sable. The water temp was 64. very cold but in years past I have found that the sharks school near deep holes or on the edges of flats as the tide goes out. anyway we started fishing at 9:15 and by 11:30 had released 10 lemon sharks to 250lbs, 3 blacktips and 2 goliath grouper. They were hungry sharks! In the afternoon we caught a few nice snook and lots of jacks and snapper. The weather is warming up today.
