Sailfishing continues to be consistent

Cliff and Cathy Fox of Foxsportfishing.com spent a few days on the water with me this past week. 10 sailfish were released, numerous king mackerel and some fat Blackfin Tuna were biting in the late afternoons. We were field testing some new reels soon to hit the market and I was totally impressed the the smoothness of the drags right out of the box.
The bite was good on the bottom as well with mutton snappers and big bull sharks. Chumming with live pilchards turned the blackfin tuna and kings on. The sailfish are biting well on ballyhoo at the moment. As the water temps cool down goggle eyes and cigar minnows will be excellent bait as well.
The patch reefs are alive right now with cero and spanish mackerel and mangrove snappers and grouper of all species.
