Black Marlin??? In Australia...

Capt. Nick Stanczyk just returned from a two week trip from the "land down under". He fished with his friends Capt. Sparra and Tara aboard the "Square Bear" out on the Great Barrier Reef out of Cairns, Australia. On the very first afternoon Nick released his first ever black marlin, around 150 lbs. There was a few slow days after that but then they were able to catch and release a few more while on a 5 day charter. After the 5 black marlin charter ended, Capt. Sparra took Nick out again to try to catch him a big black. On the 4 day trip Nick caught and released an estimated 900 lber, a 200 lber, and finished with a beautiful 950 lber! The big fish jumped all over the ocean and was one of the most exciting battles Nick had ever seen. If anyone ever gets down there check out Capt. Sparra at www.fishsquarebear.com
