11/8/11 Islamorada Offshore Fishing Report
Well the weather finally settled down the last couple of days and the Florida Deep Sea Fishing was red hot today. Winds were out of the North at 10 to 18 mph and the sun was out all day long. The Relentless hit a big school of cobia and caught their limit up to 30 lbs. After that they anchored down for some reef fishing and had a bucket full of nice mangrove and yellowtail snapper as well as a handful of cero mackerel. Now November is usually slim pickings on the mahi, but the Fearless and the Finnster both had around 25 fish up to 12 lbs. The Finnster also caught and released 2 out of 3 sailfish before calling it a day. The girls apparently were the lucky anglers and both caught a sailfish as well as a sun tan. Keep watching for our Florida Keys Fishing Reports.
