2-24-11 Kids Go Fishing!
On a morning 1/2 day aboard the BNM today we had Josh and Con, both young teenagers who wanted to catch some saltwater fish. They're from upstate New York and came down to get out of the cold. Both Dads were with us too, but the kids insisted they catch all the fish. They each caught a few king mackerel up to 20 lbs, released an amberjack, and then on the way home we found a school of cobia, keeping 2 and releasing 1. Its always exciting to take Kids Fishing who don't get to do it very often. The Catch 22 on a full day reported 20 yellowtail snapper, 12 king mackerel, 3 cobias, and released 2 sailfish! Great work guys! The Pretty Work also had a limit of some of the nicest king mackerel we have seen in weeks. Nice Job!
