2-26-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report!

We took two half day Fishing Trips aboard the BNM today and had lots of action. It was a perfect day for Florida Fishing! Conditions were sunny skies with a very light breeze. In the morning we had Matt and Todd from Michigan out, and we caught our limit of king mackerel to 12 lbs, and then on our way back to the dock found a school of cobia, and caught 6 fish, keeping the two biggest to 32 lbs. In the afternoon we had 7 year old Luke from Boca Raton, he came down for some Kids Fishing! We made it out to the hump and caught half a dozen blackfin tunas to 18 lbs. Then on the last drop Luke went in on a pound for pound fishing battle and came out on top, putting a 51 lb Amberjack on the deck. Pretty Work! As far as other boats at the marina the Relentess released a sailfish and had plenty of king mackerel, and The Reel McCoy had king mackerel and 6 nice keeper cobia as well.
