12-8-12 Islamorada Deep Sea Fishing Report in December

The Deep Sea Fishing in December in Islamorada has been great lately! Capt. Nick Stanczyk fished with Peter Miller today for an episode of Bass2Billfish, which should air early next year, and they caught two broadbill swordfish. The fish weren't big but one about 70 lbs and another about 40 lbs. The Rest of the boats stayed on the reef and the Catch 22 released 5 sailfish today and 3 yesterday. The Reel McCoy released 5 sailfish yesterday as well. The Relentless released 3 sailfish yesterday and 5 the day before. The Kalex caught a variety of snapper, mackerel, and a couple dolphin yesterday as well near the reef. The Bn'M caught 2 daytime swordfish yesterday as well. The Bn'M also caught a couple sailfish a few days ago, as well as a couple black grouper. There's also been a few mutton snapper and barracuda around.
