3/15/12 Islamorada Offshore Fishing Report
The Islamorada Fishing Trips have been really good the last couple of days here at Bud N Mary's Marina. Almost every boat has been fishing and there's been lots of different fish to catch. The Sailfish have been a little scarce, but we did manage to release one sailfish on each of the last 2 days aboard the BNM. Today we also released an estimated 300-350 lb Goliath Grouper. All the boats Reef Fishing have had plenty of yellowtail snapper as well as a few mutton and mangrove snapper. There's also been some king mackerel and a couple cobia too. The Relentless went offshore fishing today and the Spring is the start of our dolphin (mahi) season. Capt. Paul caught 25 mahi up to 12 lbs, a 150 lb bull shark, and a 40 lb amberjack. The Catch 22 also had a handful of mahi and a couple amberjacks offshore, after catching a bucket full of snappers on the reef. Yesterday the Manowar had a great catch offshore as well. They found some floating debris and managed to catch 10 wahoo to 15 lbs as well as 20 dolphin. Get on out there with us for your own Florida Keys Fishing Charter.
