On tuesday super low tides piled the reds up in the Cape Sable area for some serious everglades fishing. Father & son Doug & Ryan Singleton from Michigan caught over 30 reds in the 16 inch range, two 27 inchers , & too many trout to count. All of the fish were released! All in all a great day and a dream Florida Fishing Vacation for father and son! Capt. Jim Willcox
Well the waters in the Florida Keys Fishing bay have slowly warmed up over the weekend. Capt. Jim Willcox fished a half day yesterday morning before the rain got to us and caught over 100 trout! John & Sean, the father son team from California, had a wonderful time! Good to see the trout bite turning on fishing Islamorada again. Islamorada Backcountry Guide Jim Willcox reporting.
