The KALEX reported lots of dolphin today. They released about 50 fish and kept 20 or so for dinner, as well as a pair of wahoo's and a cobia! The Gon Fishin V also had a handful of dolphin as well as a couple of mutton snapper, a few blackfin tuna, an african pompano, and a sailfish release! Both groups are really enjoying their Florida Fishing Vacation in the Keys!

Kids Fishing Trip leads to big fish!

The Catch 22 had 3 young kids and their parents out on 3-11-11. They started off the day catching yellowtail snapper, about 30 in all, and then found an exciting sailfish that jumped all over the ocean, which they released. The kids were really happy with all the action and looking forward to eating their catch for dinner. On the way home Capt. Scott found a school of cobia and they wound up catching 4 keeper cobias up to 63 lbs! What a Kids Fishing Trip!

Snow at home... Sailfish in the Keys...

Capt. Glen Miller on the Gon Fishin V took Chris and Gary from Chicago out today. Chris was the lucky lady and caught a really nice african pompano that weighed 37 lbs, a 13 lb mutton snapper, they combined for their limit of king mackerel to 20 lbs, and Gary finished up the day releasing a nice atlantic sailfish. What a great get away from the cold!!! That's an Islamorada Fishing Vacation!

The Redfish fished two 1/2 days today and the afternoon produced 25 mahi up to 25 lbs for the Michigan Group. The Gulfstream pushed in real close to the edge of the reef and with it came lots of mahi. They said it was one of their best florida fishing trips ever!
