3-3-11 Windy but Great Reef Fishing!

The Relentless had an incredible catch of 20 big yellowtail snapper (2 to 3 lbs!), a limit of king mackerel to 10 pounds, a 30 lb amberjack, a few bonitos, and then to top it all off released a double header sailfish! Great Day for a Florida Keys Fishing Charter!

Daytime Swordfish bite continues into March!

We fished aboard the BNM yesterday, March 1st, and managed to catch two daytime swordfish. We kept the bigger one for dinner and released a smaller one. We also had a few bites we missed, which was encouraging because it let us know there's a few fish out there. If you want to get out on a florida swordfish charter, this might be the year to do it.

2-26-11 Florida Keys Fishing Report!

We took two half day Fishing Trips aboard the BNM today and had lots of action. It was a perfect day for Florida Fishing! Conditions were sunny skies with a very light breeze. In the morning we had Matt and Todd from Michigan out, and we caught our limit of king mackerel to 12 lbs, and then on our way back to the dock found a school of cobia, and caught 6 fish, keeping the two biggest to 32 lbs. In the afternoon we had 7 year old Luke from Boca Raton, he came down for some Kids Fishing! We made it out to the hump and caught half a dozen blackfin tunas to 18 lbs. Then on the last drop Luke went in on a pound for pound fishing battle and came out on top, putting a 51 lb Amberjack on the deck. Pretty Work! As far as other boats at the marina the Relentess released a sailfish and had plenty of king mackerel, and The Reel McCoy had king mackerel and 6 nice keeper cobia as well.

2-24-11 Kids Go Fishing!

On a morning 1/2 day aboard the BNM today we had Josh and Con, both young teenagers who wanted to catch some saltwater fish. They're from upstate New York and came down to get out of the cold. Both Dads were with us too, but the kids insisted they catch all the fish. They each caught a few king mackerel up to 20 lbs, released an amberjack, and then on the way home we found a school of cobia, keeping 2 and releasing 1. Its always exciting to take Kids Fishing who don't get to do it very often. The Catch 22 on a full day reported 20 yellowtail snapper, 12 king mackerel, 3 cobias, and released 2 sailfish! Great work guys! The Pretty Work also had a limit of some of the nicest king mackerel we have seen in weeks. Nice Job!

2-21 and 2-22 Sailfish, Swordfish, and More!

We fished two half days on the 21st, in the morning we caught and released 3 sailfish. Then in the afternoon we went and anchored down and caught king mackerel, yellowtail snapper, mutton snapper, bonito, and a couple nice hogfish. Great for dinner! On the 22nd we made a daytime swordfish trip aboard the BNM and managed to go 4 for 6 on swords. We kept the two bigger fish, 50 and 65 lbs, and released two smaller fish. It was really nice to get some bites and keep a handful of them on.
