FEARLESS takes 2nd place in the "Over the Hill Sailfish Tournament"

Capt. Joey Hendrix released 4 sailfish on 1/25/11 to take 2nd place in the Al Flutie Over the Hill Sailfish Tournament. It's a fun, one day tournament, where the only requirement is: you have to be over the hill to fish it! Nice Job!

Lots of action on the Reef!

The Islamorada Fishing Trips are still very productive. We caught and released 5 out of 8 sailfish yesterday, as well as keeping half a dozen schoolie size dolphin (mahi-mahi) for dinner. We fished a half day this morning and managed to catch a nice wahoo while kite fishing and then right at the end we caught and released a big atlantic sailfish after a 40 minute battle. The Kalex has been catching lots of king mackerel the past few days, as well as snappers and porgys. This morning he also had a big cobia close to 60 lbs in the boat. Come on down while the fishing's good and the weathers nice.
