On Tuesday Leslie and Ray Rogers of New Jersey fished the back and Leslie caught a really nice cobia. This was Leslie's first cobia and she spent 35 minutes fighting it on a very light spinning rod. It weighed 28lbs. Lots of nice dinners. Ray had a blast catching Spanish Macks on his flyrod.

Saturday Wendy and Tom Sims of Miami Shores came down and it was really windy. Bait was plentiful though and we spent a day fishing sheltered creeks along the mainland. Loads of jacks and a dozen snook releases with fat snappers for dinner.

December 15 Eric and his son Eric Perry from England fished with me on their annual trip. They wanted the big stuff and they got it. We had summer like conditions. Cobias,bull sharks,blacktip sharks and goliath groupers.
