Lucky Ladies!
We took Chris and his father out today, along with their friends Gwen and Eve. The spring time wind was still blowing, close to 20 knots, but we stuck it out with the choppy seas. In the morning we put the Kite up and caught a few blackfin tuna, nothing huge, but medium sized fish. Capt. Joey on the Fearless pulled up to the spot and gave us a bucket full of live bait, thanks again. We started chumming with the live bait and the tuna's were going nuts. The fish we caught were all medium size, the big ones that were around the past two weeks are thinning out, although Joey had a few big ones mixed in with his catch of tunas. After catching a handful more of tuna's and skipjacks, we decided to head back towards shore with the trolling gear out for mahi. It didn't take very long till the Ladies Fishing with us were hooked up. Both caught a couple of mahi, up to about 10 lbs, as well as Chris catching a few schoolies. With plenty of fish in the box for dinner and some extra to take home, we decided to pack it in a little early. It was another fabulous Fishing Charter in the Florida Keys.
