big Tarpon caught on fly

Dr.Glenn Scott fished with capt. skip nielsen yesterday. It was perfect conditions way out in Florida Bay. Slick calm with fish rolling and freejumping. Glenn released his first Tarpon of the day around 9am about 60lbs. Later around 1pm( by now it was blistering hot and still slick calm) Dr.Glenn hooked a monster of a Tarpon. After a grueling 2 hour battle using a FoxSportfishing 12 weight flyrod and a black and purple fly tied by Skip , the good doctor had an estimated 130lb Tarpon alongside the boat. great catch and it was good to see a lot of Tarpon as they have been somewhat scarse closer to downtown Islamorada.
