11-3-12 November Islamorada Fishing Report
The weather has been great here this November fishing in Islamorada. The temperature has been in the 70's for the last few days and there been quite a few fish biting. Today the Sailfishing was really good for quite a few boats. The Kalex had an incredible day with 8 sailfish releases, including one quadruple header, the Catch 22 had 4 sailfish releases as well as a 25 lb wahoo. The Relentless also had a nice wahoo, along with some king mackerel and snapper. The BnM released a small broadbill swordfish today. Yesterday the Relentless released 6 sailfish and the BnM had a 231 lb swordfish as well as a 50 lb swordfish. On the 1st the Relentless and Kalex each had a couple sailfish releases too. The Kalex also had a few nice mutton snapper and some yellowtail snapper. The BnM caught 3 daytime swordfish from 50 to 100 lbs as well. It's a good sign to see this many sailfish around so hopefully it will be a great season here. The next few weeks should also be great for Daytime Swordfishing too!
