Predator Dolphin fishing

Dolphin fishing has been great this week.  Jimmy, Eddy and the boys from Michigan slayed the dolphin.  We caught 5 slammers and 40 schoolies on tuesday as well as a 35 lber and all the gaffer you could catch on wed.  There were some slobs caught this week as well.  I saw a 73 lber hit the dock and at least a half a dozen 40+ lbers caught.  The fish have been in shallow (500-700 feet) as well as in the deep  1800 feet+.  The back side of this moon should keep them biting

Tight Lines,

Augie

Birthday Dolphin aboard The Redfish!

Capt. Merv Finch and Haines Salmone had a great day on 5/18/08 dolphin fishing!  They took Craig Pagatch out for his birthday, and he celebrated by catching slammers!  They caught a 36 lber and a 25 lber, among some other gaffers.  They used live cigar minnows on spinning tackle.  The seas were calm.  They fished around 700' of water around the 409 hump for the larger fish, and found a pallet in 600' that the 25 lber was swimming around!
