Gulf action! Capt. Jeff Beeler

Capt. Jeff Beeler had a spectacular day last week in the gulf.  They caught 18 permit, along with some mackeral and snappers!  The calm weather with good wind direction made the fishing turn on!

Update 5/14/08:  Jeff went fishing with Brian, Judy, and Rose for a full day in the flamingo area of the everglades.  The winds were 20 mph out of the east.  He caught them 12 snook and 1 tarpon, using primarily pinfish for bait!

Good patch fishing! Capt. Ken Cohan

Capt. Ken Cohan with anglers John & Bobby had a nice day fishing the patch reefs.  Anchored in 20-25 ft they had calm seas and caught some nice hogfish up to 4 lbs, along with porgies and some other snappers!

Slammer dolphin! Predator - Capt. Augie Wampler

Well dolphin fishing hast been red hot, but good enough. Eddie and the gang from Sarasota caught a huge 55lb dolhin last week along with some gaffers and some schoolies.

More tarpon! Capt. Dave Sisung 5/10/08

Capt. Dave Sisung fished with Roy Freeman and Stephanie and had 2 tarpon relases.  Estimated 140 lbs and 70 lbs!  Great job!

Deep Dropping Report! Redfish Capt. Merv Finch

Capt. Merv Finch with mate Haines Salmone aboard the Redfish had some good action on 5/9/08.  Roger Ashley's party from Winter Haven, FL had some fun deep dropping.  Winds were 10-15 knots, and conditions looked good in 600-700 feet of water.  They caught 30 lb, 20 lb, and 15 lb snowy groupers, and a dozen tilefish!
