Bonefish are biting! Capt. Vinnie Biondoletti

Capt. Vinnie Biondoletti went out with Roger Crandall and friend John and had a great day.  They caught 5 bonefish up to 7 lbs!  They also caught 2 bonnethead sharks.  Live shrimp worked well, sightfishing the flats in the Islamorada area!  Great!

Great Tarpon Action! Capt. Dave Sisung

4/29/08 the fellows from the MEAD paper company group caught two tarpon, each over 100 lbs!  Nice job!
4/30/08 walleye legend Orin Bliss caught a 135 lb tarpon, plus another premature release!  Also 2 nurse sharks were caught by Carmen and Orin!  Fantastic!

evening tarpon fishing has turned on

4/28/08

last night all the tarpon guides had action. I had 3 fellas from New Jersey on board and they each released tarpon. we even caught a double header. The winds died and the tarpon were biting.Now is the time to fish with live mullet and have some fun with the silver kings.

Offshore and reef action as of 4/28/08

4/25/08 The Predator with Captain Augie Wampler and mate Eric Ehlers hada fantastic day!  Nimal from Ft. Meyers had a great catch of dolphin.  27, 29, and 31 pound slammers as well as two 18 lbers and a 21 lber, and 2 gaffer sized fish!  Awesome!  The Miss Islamorada with captain Ben Loy and Biggs had 15 people and caught their limit of yellowtails, as swell as 5 smoke kingfish, and a couple of mutton snappers.  Great reef action!

4/27/08  The Man O War with Captain Marc Ellis and mate Travis Kvadus had an excellent day of yellowtailing.  They caught their limit of 50 yellowtail in just a halfday with fish up to 3 lbs!  Congradulations to Uncle Jeffers and brother Mark!

Backcountry tarpon!

4/24/08 Dave Sisung with his angler Jimmy from Texas went 1 for 3 on the tarpon.  They caught an estimated 120 lber though.  This was in the morning.

4/27/08 Vic Gaspeny tarpon fished and went 3 for 3!  Marco & Katrina Mani landed tarpon in the 80 to 120 lb range.  The bite is great on the falling tide!
