Choppy, with 15mph out of the north early then turning almost slick calm in the afternoon. cool.
Had longtime client Bill Blakey and son Casey out. Spent the morning patch reef fishing close to shore in 10' of water. Lane snappers, mangrove snapper and release size grouper. Ballyhoo were swarming behind the boat and as the wind slacked off we made the decision to try to catch young Casey a sailfish.
well the plan came together and Casey got his sail a release of a 50lber. nice going.
