The great thing about fishing the Islamorada backcountry is that on really windy days there are channels and edges that you can follow by boat to stay dry and not beat up and still have sheltered fishing and great action. here are a couple more pictures. These folks had so much fun. Besides snook we caught snapper,jacks,small tarpon,redfish,trout and even goliath grouper.

Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 08:58AM a very windy stretch but bait was plentiful and we spent our days fishing sheltered backcountry creeks.
snook fishing was outstanding with 20 releases a day common. also caught in the mix were small tarpon,trout,jacks, and mangrove snapper.

Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 09:17PM The Bn'M made another trip out to the swordfish grounds on 11/21/09 and wound up catching 2. Henry caught his first 200 lber and then our seasoned angler Vic added another catch to his own with a 115 lber.
Monday, November 9, 2009 at 10:39AM Some sailfish are starting to show up which is good to see! Ryan Hamlin and crew fished with the Relentless and they worked hard to produce. Here's a picture of a nice sail they got!
Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 05:25AM Morris Palmer and his good friend Richard Urrutia from north Florida had a couple great days of fishing. The first day was slick calm and we fished backcountry. Richard caught a "backcountry slam" consisting of redfish,tarpon,snook and trout releases. We caught tripletail,snook,goliath groupers,sharks,tarpon ect. How can you go wrong when the weather and fish cooperate.
Next day was really windy from the north east and while looking for live pilchards we came across a huge school of migrating mullet. Well we them to good use, heading down to channel 2 and 5 bridges. Morris and Richard released 6 tarpon and had all kinds of action. The tarpon fishing can really be good on an incoming tide this time of year with the mullet migrating down the beach.
